The Frank Lloyd Wright designed, Bradley House in Kankakee, IL has been getting a bit of press this past year. Douglas Anders' FLLW Newsblog has had a handful of postings about the Bradley House. There is also an interview of the current homeowner, Gaines Hall, done by AIArchitect.
We have dug a bit deeper and found another wonderful article on the house that was published last summer in Images of the Kankakee River Valley. I was able to get a copy from the publisher and it was a treat to read the article and see the pictures. However, you can also view the information online here.
The Bradley House is currently undergoing restoration, but the finished Stable is open to the public. The Stable Shop & Musuem is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, plus Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. Their website is www.flwbradleyhouse.com.
