Park Inn Hotel Grant

The last Frank Lloyd Wright designed hotel, the Park Inn Hotel in Mason City, Iowa, is happily in the midst of a much needed restoration. The Hotel restoration recently received a grant for $20,500 from the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs. read about it here.

If you're traveling through Iowa, take some time out to stop and visit the Lowell Walter house in Quasqueton. It's a beautifully intact Usonian and it's open for public tours. You'll be glad you stopped!
