A recent article in the LaCrosse Tribune reports on the expansion plans the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation has for Taliesin West. As the article states:
The preservation plan is expected to be complete within a few months.
The plan to rezone the entire 492-acre property as a "special campus"
is expected to follow. Rezoning the campus would allow the
foundation to expand it to include a new visitors center, a larger
architecture studio and residential space for visiting artists.
This is good news for the Foundation, which battled with negative PR for most of the year. A move towards propelling the mission of the organization solidly into the 21st century and beyond will ensure that it stays relevant and intact for generation to come.
