Frank Lloyd Wright: Designing an American Way of Living presented by Virginia Terry Boyd, Professor of Design Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also curator of The House Beautiful Exhibit currently traveling the country.

Here is a a rundown of the lecture: Frank Lloyd Wright believed that American houses should be designed for a uniquely American way of living. He began pursuing this idea at the turn of the twentieth century and continued throughout his long career. From the Prairie style to Usonian houses, this lecture will explore the new spatial arrangements, modern aesthetics and affordability Wright introduced to American architecture.
