Mark Hertzberg has posted on the second part of his recent Buffalo, NY trip. This time he covers in depth the history and the current restoration effort on Graycliff -- the house Frank Lloyd Wright designed for Isabelle R. Martin (wife of Darwin Martin.) As always, Mark does a fantastic job with his writing and photography, covering the details you wouldn't normally get (in fact, we think Mr. Hertzberg should consider writing a book on Graycliff, similar to his fantastic tome on the Hardy House!)
Check out the article and discover another reason to plan a trip to Buffalo as soon as possible.

i have had the dumb luck to have visited graycliff dozens of times in my childhood, before i even realized who built it.
