We recently had the privilege of being invited to Don Erickson's estate in Barrington, IL - which is now available for sale. Erickson was a former student of Frank Lloyd Wright and a brilliant architect who had a wonderful grasp on the principles of Organic Architecture. Unfortunately, Don passed away last October before we had a chance to speak with him about his amazing career.
Don's widow, Patricia Erickson graciously showed us around the home while sharing marvelous memories of her husband. It was truly inspiring to walk through such a fantastically designed structure. For anyone interested in purchasing the estate, I believe the asking price is $4.2 million. Patricia can be reached via email at patriciaerickson@sbcglobal.net.
We snapped some photos during our visit and we'll be doing future posts about the life and work of Don Erickson, so keep reading the blog for updates.

Please note that our father's estate property, which includes the house, is now listed for $3.55 M vs. the $4.2 M currently listed on your Web site.
Thank you for your interest in our father's work and for publishing photos of his house on prariemod.com.
