There was an interesting article in today's Sunday Chicago Tribune. It discusses the new lease on life that the last Louis H. Sullivan designed building has received, the Krause Music Store in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago. New owners, Peter and Pooja Vukosavich have overseen the loving restoration of the building (as we can personally attest to.) The Vukosavich's undertook some conventional restoration efforts (and a few unconventional ones--meditation and burning herbs, anyone?) Read the article to find out the rest of the story and see some cool photos of this amazing building.
