Technology is so great that it is supposed to make it easier for us to live, right? We'll I'm sure you've experienced that feeling where you get a great new device that solves one problem only to create another. I definitely have. Also, what about those tools that help you get organized? Some how I'm still jotting down notes on pieces of scrap paper or (sadly) on my hand.
In comes the beta service called Mindjot. The basic gist = you want/need to remember things that have sped past you in this crazy-fast info age, but you need somewhere central to store and access that info from anywhere. It's a brain for your brain.
See the handy graphic below to learn how it works, from the Mindjot website:
1. See it!
Spot one of our unique Mindjot codes.
2. Click it!
Using your web-enabled cellphone or PDA, point your browser to www.6463568.com (M-I-N-D-J-O-T) and sign in to your account. Enter the number and an optional comment to yourself. (After saving it, you even receive additional info about the company back on your phone!)
3. Save it!
When you get back to your PC, sign in to your account at www.mindjot.com and view saved web page summaries of each mCode you entered. Your saved items are there for as long as you like, so you have them whenever you need them.
The jury is out on the actual usefulness of this service, but if you're up for it....give it a try. It's free!
