One of our readers sent me a link to this article on architecture that is about as "organic" as it gets...feast your eyes on the Nautilus House!
Built by a couple in Mexico City, this unique home was designed to emulate the curvaceous shell structure of a nautilus (a deep sea snail). The couple hired the unconventional architects at Senosiain Arquitectos to bring their mollusk mansion to life.
It's definitely a unique way to Bring the Outside In and Think Natural. A little too literal and "theme park-esque" for my personal taste, but I can admire the ingenuity of it all. It would be interesting to see some of the building principles utilized in this biomorphic house applied to other, less kitschy architectural endeavors. Read the article here and enjoy gawking at a few more photos.

This place was featured in a segment of the condescending but interesting HGTV show "Extreme Homes," which has been repackaged & rerun over the years under different names. The latest incarnation, I believe, is called "What's With That House?"
