We received word that Room & Board has worked with their print vendor to create new shopping bags that consist of 100 percent recycled content including 30 percent post consumer waste fiber, are manufactured Chlorine Free and source paper made with 100 percent certified renewable energy including, but not limited to, wind power, solar power, low impact hydropower and biomass. Wow, that certainly is a mouthful!
Bottom-line, the bags are made using Neenah's Environment Desert Storm paper. Additionally, these babies are manufactured exclusively at Pack America in Kansas City using soy based inks and varnish.
Kudos to Room & Board for this initiative!
