The Price Tower Arts Center will be hosting an evening gala benefit at Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower in Bartlesville, OK. The event is at 7pm on April 5th, 2008. The trip to Oklahoma should be well worth it to see such a brilliant piece of architecture and support the preservation of the building and the organizations working out of it.
The gala event with also kickoff a new exhibition titled....
....Setting The Table: Designs in Mid-Century Dinnerware
Event details:
Drawing from numerous private collections, a variety of table settings – holiday formal, casual buffet, patio barbeque, park picnic – will serve to display a wide selection of mid-century dinnerware, glassware, utensils, and serving pieces including those by designers Russel Wright (1905-1976), Eva Zeisel (b. 1906), and Edith Heath (1911-2005).
