We recently got word that the folks at Image Design, LLC officially received the Platinum LEED rating for their Onekama, Michigan Hybrid Home. As stated on their blog:
Only 22 other homes in the nation have received this honor. Along with the "Platinum" LEED Certifications and winning the GLREA 2007 Exemplary Project Award, this hybrid home has also been awarded an Energy Star Rating of 5+ Stars.
Congratulations to the whole team for such a wonderful honor! For your follow-up, how about a Platinum LEED rated modern-day interpretation of a Usonian home?

We actual are working on a modern day version of a Usonian home for a client that wants it ?LEED Certified. Will it be another platinum project you'll have to wait and see! We also Just Registered another Prairie Style Home under the LEED for Homes program.
