Stonyfield Farms & Climate Counts

I was eating my daily dose of Stonyfield Farm organic yogurt, when I read some info on the yogurt lid about a neat little service. Stonyfield (the first US manufacturer to offset 100% of their facility CO2 emissions) has partnered with Climate Counts.org through their lids of the month program. Here is the rundown.... 

Climate Counts lets you use your cell phone to check on companies' climate practices before you purchase. Just text "cc" and the name of the company to 30644 for an instant reply. Climate Counts evaluates and scores company efforts to stop climate change. Scores for Nike, Gap, Apple, Dell, PepsiCo, Burger King, Starbucks, Amazon, and 52 other companies are available online at ClimateCounts.org. And the Climate Counts site gives you an easy way to contact companies to let them know you’re paying attention to their climate practices.
