George Mann Niedecken-Fever is spreading! With the new exhibit in Milwaukee and the lecture tonight at Prairie Loft (with book signing by Cheryl Robertson), it seems Mr. Niedecken is a hot commodity.
One of our readers, Jim Hartland of North Olmstead, Ohio, enjoyed the exhibit sneak-peek photos we posted recently and sent along a photo of some Niedecken-inspired art glass he created for his own home. Living PrairieMod!
Feel free to send along your thoughts and photos of anything that inspires you to live PrairieMod. See you at the events!

I had the opportunity to visit the Niedecken exhibit at the Milwaukee Art Museum last night. Simply put, it was amazing, and those that were present for the openeing were equally impressed. The keynote lecture given by John Eastberg was very informative and gave great insight to Niedecken's important works in Milwaukee. While Niedecken collaborated with Wright on several commissions, it is important to note that the show highlights Niedecken, and puts his works into the spotlight, instead of being in the shadow of FLW. This show really does a wonderful job in presenting a sampling of the Niedecken archives at the Milwaukee Art Museum. This show is an absolute must see.
