I popped into my local Room & Board today to get a look at what was new and exciting. What did I encounter? Well, I can tell you that Spring has sprung at R&B--which is nice, since they are calling for snow later this week in Chi-Town!
Outdoor living has become a big thing in the world of decor and Room & Board has some really nice selections if your looking to give your patio furniture an upgrade.
I'm contemplating a redesign for two of the little red house's decks, and some of their Montego accent tables or benches would integrate really well with the ideas that I have. I love the really USONIAN feel that these pieces have: nice natural use of wood and metal along with clean modular forms.
Can you have a big cushy chair outdoors? You can if you get the Montecito deep chair. I like the clean, classic yet strikingly modern take on the "wicker patio furniture" idea. I could definitely curl-up with a book and a glass of lemonade in this chair.
Last, but not least, I'm really digging the cantilevered Waikiki Umbrella. A perfect solution to stay in the shade while maximizing your outdoor living space. No more centralized pole to eat up valuable shade real estate! I also really like the bright, yet earthy colors choices. As I walked back out into the uncertain Chicago Spring weather, I was primed with lots of ideas and inspirations for when the weather finally does start to cooperate. Check out your local Room & Board to see even more of the outdoor collection, or cruise over to their website to see it all online.
