After checking out the "Design in the Age of Darwin" show at the Block Museum of Art this weekend, I was amazed to find out that the work of a major figure in the English Arts and Crafts movement continues today! C.R. Ashbee's Guild of Handicraft specialized in making amazingly beautiful silverwork during the late 1800s. Now a company called Hart Gold & Silversmiths continues the Guild's work to this very day. Check out the website and the work here.
