Anneli Rufus & Kristan Lawson at the blog Scavenging were given a special sneak-preview of downtown Berkeley, California's David Brower Center,
a 50,000-square-foot experimental “green from the ground up” building that opens to the public on May 10th. 53%
of its construction involves recycled materials, making this
the world’s biggest
