This is an odd story: widow, Cecilia Taylor of Sioux City, IA came home from a trip to Florida to find her William L. Steele-designed house deemed "unsafe" after water pipes broke and flooded it. Insurance wouldn't cover repairs and against the owner's wishes, this historic home is now being demolished. I'd love to find out more info on this sad story and which William Steele House it actually is (was). Anyone know? Read more here.
