How does rammed-earth construction stand up to earthquakes?

Hi Paul,
The insulated rammed earth wall system we use is stabilized with cement and has steel reinforcement inside like concrete walls. It behaves very similar to concrete walls structurally. Most builders of modern structures have their buildings approved by an engineer who factors in the potential for a major seismic event, which the building is designed to survive. They are very safe.
