The Del Mar Times reports that artist and builder Herbert B. Turner died this week. Inspired by hearing a talk by Frank Lloyd Wright, Turner came to Del Mar to seek an apprenticeship with Frank's son, John
Lloyd Wright, who was also an architect. Read more about Mr. Turner's life and work here.
