I've always loved the pair of native American statues that Frank Lloyd Wright designed in 1924. Titled "Nakoma and Nakomis," they have appeared in various iterations as bronzes, garden statues and even full scale replicas at the SC Johnson Wax Headquarters in Racine, WI. But I'm taken with the glossy black glazed ceramic versions that Wright had made back in the 1920s and now only exist in private/museum collections. The supple "Nakoma" figure at left is in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum in the UK. It would be great to have an officially licensed Frank Lloyd Wright Collection® version of both Nakoma and Nakomis available for the rest of us!
