I received word from the Friends of Kebyar organization that the Bruce Goff-designed Bavinger House has sustained significant damage. However, due to the reticence of those living at the house to let people near the home, it has been difficult to determine the full extent of the damage to this important architectural work. Read the Friends of Kebyar message here and as we learn more about the condition of the home, we'll keep readers informed.

BAVINGER HOUSE UPDATE - We have confirmation from Bob himself today that the roof has indeed collapsed and is now sitting on the first floor. The rock walls are in good shape, though. He's currently putting together a blog that he says will answer everyone's questions -- it should be done and up in a few days. It was mentioned that it might be good to let someone take some pictures, and he seemed receptive to the idea. An individual from OKC is going to call him back when the blog is up and try to set up a time to go out and see the place.
