After our recent post about Mike Brown's collection of mid-century architecture post cards, Oklahoma City design instructor Jim Watson paid a visit to Mike's OKC vintage shop. Jim reported back about his enjoyable visit with Mike and the treasure trove of mid-century goodies at Retrokc. If you find yourself in Oklahoma City, be sure to check out this part of midtown, which is undergoing an urban renaissance with many great shops and restaurants (one serves sumptuous-looking grilled cheese sandwiches). And if you can't make it to OKC, a sampling of Mike's goods can be found at his Etsy shop. The vintage fabrics are particularly fetching!
