YouTube is partnering with the Guggenheim Museum to help find new artistic video content as part of their "YouTube Play" initiative. Between now and July 31, 2010, people are encouraged to create and upload

The life and work of Frank Lloyd Wright student, E. Fay Jones has been told in the
documentary Sacred Spaces: The Architecture of Fay Jones. The 60-minute film by Dale Carpenter
and Larry Foley will be shown at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fayetteville Public Library. It also will air on the Arkansas Educational Television Network at 9 p.m. March 25 and at 1 p.m. March 28. The film is available on DVD, as part of a new collaboration between the University of Arkansas Press and the university’s Fay Jones School of Architecture. Read more here.

With the recent announcement of the Eames House tour giveaway, buzz is building about the new Eames font being developed by House Industries, to be released in March 2010. Have you watched this You Tube video that was posted about a few days ago called "The Way We Live"? It was made by a group called Studio 1032 and has some very relevant and insightful things to say about the state of American architecture and its impact on our lives. However, after I searched for Studio 1032's website, I was a little surprised to find several architectural designs for...Prairie McMansions? It begs the question: does the walk match the talk? E. Fay Jones was one of the most remarkable practitioners of Organic Architecture and his work seems as fresh and relevant today as it was when built. Here's a link to an article discussing the man and an new documentary about his life and work.
